Default I am back in another C5, of course with a blower

I wasn't looking to get back into another C5, but this car came up was close to me and was the right deal.

This was my last build:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...-13update.html

Current mods:
Stock LS6 motor
ECS 1500 Novi Supercharger w/restrictor plate
RPM Level 6 4L60 w/Coan 3200 or 3600 (can't remember) w/B&M #70297 cooler
Quicktime bellhousing
PCS trans controller
BTR (PAC 1211x) valve springs and chromoly pushrods
LS7 lifters
LS9 head gaskets w/ARP head studs
TSP SS 1 3/4 Headers w/cats
Alky Meth injection (single nozzle),
Racetronix harness, pump and hotwire kit
Fuel Pressure, Boost and AFR gauges
60# injectors
Boost-a-pump
Stock rims have been powder coated flat black
Mechman 170amp Alternator (Black)
Engineered Cooling Radiator (28" wide x 18-7/8" tall. Core is 24-3/4" wide x 17-3/8" high)

The previous owner put up with my harassing and a million questions as we worked through the deal. End the end we came to an agreement and I picked up the car.

I brought it home and have driven it very little as without mufflers and having headers. I have it on my lift and am sorting through the car and am doing some updates as I go.

Picking it up in Tulsa.

First step pick up some parts. Local guy had all of this off a wrecked car.

Step 2 install the mufflers, which I found is a little trickier with and auto. Had to drop the cradle.

Much better.

I pulled all of the stereo gear that was in it and have the interior currently apart to clean up the wiring for the gauges and trans controller.

Ordered these last week and they showed up Friday, so 15" conversion is the first step of the mods I am doing.

I ordered the Weld RTS today and will be sending them for the new XV beadlock from Champion over the winter. I am going to run the 275/60R15 Nitto NT555R, as it works extremely well on the surfaces we have around here.

This is the new beadlock.

Ty's thread inspired me to do the Champion. On page 2 is C5Z 8 U's car which my should look very similar when done.

Outside of cleaning things up and hard piping the blower kit, potentially removing the restrictor and going to a wastegate I believe I will just drive it and enjoy it.

This was the hard piping on my last blower car. I edited my order and got the following pieces ordered.

I love c5z's. If mine would have been auto or If I would have converted like I was planning I would very likely still have it

My favorite late model Corvette is the C5 FRC.

A brother from another mother gave me the idea as he has an almost identical plate on his EB Z06, so I got it ordered today.

Found this in my sticker stash, so will put it to use, had one on my last FRC. Need to pick up a Tick Performance and a Paxton/ECS Supercharing to throw on it too.

Also selling the headers (I hate them on C5/6's, they make too much noise) and picking up a set of C6Z manifolds and 3" H-Pipe.

Well more parts arrived today and I started tearing into it further.

First off was the removal of the headers for installation of the the C6Z manifolds and H pipe.

Picked these up today, but am pretty sure they are not going to fit due to width. So I will likely use the 275/60s and sell these.

Also picked up some studs and nuts from GM to make my own header stud kit. $40 versus a ARP kit that is $130.

Pistons and rods came in for another LS motor I spec'd for a good friend.

Those wheels will look like sex. The price/looks/weight ratio for race stars is great, but the welds just look soooo good!

Any issues with bolting in the C6 Z06 exhaust? I have a 70 year old customer that is interested for his C5...and we have a setup here(C6Z's). Was gonna go with a long tube but, I think he isn't really into added sound. Bolt in easy? Any changes/mods to make work? Catback still bolt in?

Thanks.

edit-i'll just text you lol
