Default Washer Fluid Low Level Warning Light on 00 TA?

Dumb question but I am using the washer reservoir in my TA for meth injection. Is there a factory "low washer fluid" warning light? It would be great if there was. If not, has anyone added one?

I don't believe there is but you could probably use the low coolant warning instead.

^This. That coolant level sensor is usually useless anyways. take it and put it into your reservoir and extend the plug to it. You get a nice red light on the dash when it gets below the sensor level

Your kit doesn't have a "LOW" light on it?
I've got the Alky Control kit and I get a red light when it reaches a certain level.

I added one to my stock tank from Devils Own. Ran it for 2 years them moved it to another tank when I stood up my radiator. I cut about 1/2 inch off so it fit though

Looks exactly like what I would need. Where did you get it and how did you hook it up? I like the idea of using the low coolant level light and circuit.

My 2011 Silverado has one from the factory-it started staying on all the time, prob a failed sensor-not sure if you could use one of those sensors in your tank or not

I got the exact same sensor for my setup. Be aware though, in the pictures its actually upside down. So the light will stay off as the "bobber" floats up. As soon as the fluid level is below the sensor the light goes on. I only say this as I put it in the middle of my tank thinking the sensor falls towards the bottom the light came on. So you put the sensor near the bottom. On a good note I know really early when i'm low on meth.

LOL, i played with mine on the bench before installing just for that reason since it said it can be used either way.

I wished I noticed that myself. It's right in the middle of the tank so when it's 1/2 tank it will come on....That works for me but I would of preferred it was at or near the bottom. Good stuff either way....

Cool and thanks for the PM. I think I'm going to pick one of those up especially since I have a devils own kit and can tie it into the controller and my low coolant light (controller is in the glovebox so I most likely won't see the light)

Just noticed the crazy expensive shipping for this part though. Geez. Any other company make a switch like this?
