Thanks! Was by far the most fun ive had racing. The truck was a popular vehicle and tons of people recognized it.

It managed to run right in the 8.5 range all week to secure the win in my class and i entered into the shootout where i cranked it up and took the win but popped a head gasket.

Very fortunate that nothing broke or needed to be worked on all week. We were blessed with good luck, and great weather all week

Had to be a blast. Congrats again! To be brutally honest, I would've loved I see you and stock48 go at in the shoot out! I think that race would've got more attention than all of drag week put together. Lol! Great job again, you deserve it for the work you put in.

It was right at 1000 miles. Pretty short this year. But they picked some rough roads.

Thanks everyone!

It would have been icing on the cake to duke it out between jarrett and myself. Although we would have had our hands full, lots of really close competitors. The class is starting to look like an index race, who knows what next year will bring

Even better! Let everybody run 8.50s all week long and then let er rip in the shoot out. Sounds like a good idea to me! The cars are flyin! Great job.

I have noticed the BB PA cars haven't been as fast as the SB's, is there a weight penalty or something, or is it the LS engines, lol

Both street race BB and SB cars have the same rules, same 3000lb min weight, and same 8.50 ET cap

As too why they cant keep up? Friburger has been giving them **** about it for years. Maybe they need a weight break too. Lol

What kind of boost were you running when you popped the HG? Did you replace it already? Any other damage?

Congrats!

It was the same 31psi tune from norwalk. Lasted 7.9 sec into the run where coolant pressure spiked from 15psi to way over 30. I have the ecu programmed to kill the engine anything over 22psi. But the damage was done. Engine was at 7200rpm and it hydrolocked. I havent taken anything apart but im expecting a torched head and bent rods at a minimum

Yep everyone is getting faster. Nxt yr will definitely be a index to the max. Too bad they won't let us run 8.0's in the class.... After my 8.22 last yr they would not let me run again or run the shootout. I had wanted to pull all the crap out of the car uncap exh raise rev limiter and let it eat lol. Might have lasted a pass or two lol
