Default 370 + S484 + RPM T56 Build Thread

Finally getting around to making a build thread for my car... Basics include a forged 370ci spec'd by Ethan @ Hubbard Racing Inc, Billet S484 spec'd by John @ Lil John Motorsport Solutions, a MWC Fab 9", full MWC suspension, and an RPM T56 from RPM Transmissions.

Car will be a street /strip car, goals of 1000+hp, 8 second 1/4 mile and the ability to "street drive," it safely.

I will update this post with pictures and updates as progress is made.

Here is how the car stood in 2014. H/C LS1, went a best of 11.90 at 116. Spun a rod bearing late in the fall and that prompted the 2015-2016 build.

New motor is an LQ4, bored to a 370ci. Machine work was done by a local machine shop in Indianapolis, assembled and spec'd by Hubbard Racing Inc. Shortblock includes the following

K1 Crank
k1 Rods
Wiseco Pistons

Compression will be around 10.2:1 stacked with a set of TrickFlow As-Cast 220's that have been digitized and ported to best suit my build.

Finally got it back on the ground with the new wheel setup..

Won't sit this low when it's done, coilovers aren't adjusted yet.

Wheels are 15x10 Weld Single Beadlock 4.5" BS / 17x4.5 Weld Alumistars

I needed more under hood clearance for the Pro Flo but I didn't want a big cowl hood, after some research I found this Seibon Carbon Fiber WS6 hood that has the same silhouette as stock but more room on the underside, Haven't decided to paint it, leave it, or paint everything but the Black Hawk stripes and leave them carbon.. What do you guys think?

Another piece of the puzzle thanks to Stephen at Rock Solid Motorsports for his TA Parachute Mount. Install was quick and easy, and it's a very sturdy piece. I love how it turned out.

Waiting on my custom radiator from AFCO, I am making a removable lower radiator support to hold the setup, So while waiting cut out the factory lower support and cleaned it up. Will make a solid lower brace that can be removed to work on the car

I know RPM makes some bad *** T56's, and I sure as hell hope you got one. A sprayer would be a good addition as well. What clutch ya running?
