Volvo 242 - The frog

Made a temporary fuel system today with a chinese-044. Want to have in-tank pumps later.
The bracket is for auxiliary lights on a light bar in the front of a big Volvo truck. Really nice fit
When you are getting close to a startup and you dont have the patience to make a good ground in the trunk this can be a nice solution

A friend welded the last on my intercooler today
Wasnt feeling so well tonight so i just put the radiator and intercooler on the car and tacked up some piping between intercooler and turbos.
Worthless pic but you can see that the radiator is pretty big

Its getting there! The wires for lighting, fans, horn, wideband and some more are now under the front fenders for a cleaner look. Started putting the fenders and bumper back together
Didnt like the shiny intercoolers
Rattlecanned the front lip green as it was blue from the beginning but its a little to stylish for my taste so i will maybe put a stock un-painted one on later

Dude this is awesome work! What a build, love the way you laid everything out. Got me really thinking about things now lol.
Pretty much my dream build (LS Brick) but I'd go for a slightly newer, brickier baby blue 240 xD.

Woho! Green hood hinges at last!
Got my aluminium radiator welded so now its mounted in there somewhere
Had to ebay myself a new thermostat housing
The stock IAC doesnt work so well with the engine management system i am using so i made some fittings for another model
Some vacuum- and coolant-hoses to do and it will be ready for some longer startups

Dont really know what i should have done different...maybe turned the exhaust manifolds down and forward and used an electric power steering pump
Got nothing better to do so started with the interior. Dont make me sit in the middle in the back seat
But it was nice to get the back seat in the car again, now i have somewhere to sit when im tired(happens pretty often) (to bad someone had drilled a bunch of holes in the dashboard before i bought the car, but will maybe put a bracket for a tablet connected to the VEMS)
Almost got the dashboard all together again and the shifter too, with working neutral safety switch(not so important when i dont even have a transmission ) But now i can sit in the car and play around some...feels good!
In the video i start it for the first time that day and without touching the gas pedal...but will have someone help me with the tuning later on.
