I have the following and looking to buy the parts to put this combo together. I need to make a list. I have a 3 bolt timing chain and gear set.
I'm looking to put it together basically like a stock ls9, probably running ls9 cam. I want this to be around 650 horse, and remain stock compression. My goal is to be able to drive the car anywhere, and make it last.
Its going into a 68 firebird.

Water pump
Accessory Drive kit
LS9 lid
Flywheel for Automatic
Balancer

So my questions are,
What water pump do I need for this combo?
What drive kit do I use if I don't use power steering.
Do I need to pin the crank?

That's the route I'm going with my GTO. There was a guy who used a stock LS2 and milled LS3 heads with the LSA supercharger. New Era did the work.

One issue is the drive kut. Anyone know how to eliminate the power steering pump on an LSA setup?
Do you need to mill the heads?
