Default 990hp,s484 dyno video!

Heres my combo:
377lme motor
Trick flow 245
Ls6 intake
Th400
9" moser
S484 t4, billet wheel, race cover
Holley dominator
Huron speed v1 kit
And through a borla xr1 muffler. 4" dp,exhaust

Well it made good power, but it seemed to be hitting a wall at anything over 25psi. Also on the lower boost pulls, power would fall off too early. Like around 6k Rpms. 16psi it would just flat line at 6k and then fall. It was picking up around 25hp per pound of boost, when I tried going from 25psi to 28psi, it only picked up 14hp. Made 975hp on 24-25psi. Made 990hp on 28psi.

On one pull when it made 925hp it was better than the rest till about 6-6500 Rpms and kinda flat lined and fell off. If it had kept pulling higher it would have hit 1k I believe. What do you guys think? Here's a video and graph.

Two questions for you.

Is it fast? Dyno numbers don't mean ****.

And, most importantly, are you satisfied with it?

You seem almost bummed about the results.

1000 rwhp, through a th400, and a 9" with a t4 turbo, and through a muffler!! nothing to be disappointed about there! that's impressive.

I had a customer with a much smaller turbo on a 5.3 that picked up over 100rwhp and 3-4psi of boost just opening his cut-out and bypassing his full exhaust and he also had a Magnaflow muffler.

Not bummed at all! Just want to make sure I'm not leaving anything on the table, and want the car to be right. Dyno graph shows something to be up.

Will try to take muffler off and check that next time. It turns down even with the passenger side door. So it's not "full" exhaust.

My initial thinking is I may be blowing out the spark. Had the plugs gapped to .028. Gonna tighten them up some and see if that helps. Ngk b8efs

It's a t4 with 1.25a/r, 96 turbine.
Turbo fits good. I even have a be cool type 3"thick radiator. Stock radiator would give it a bit more clearance. With the thick radiator, turbo is probably about a 1" or so away from the compressor cover.
Only thing I changed on the crossover was the wastegate. At the time, the kit came with a 38mm wastegate pipe. I cut that off and put a 60mm wastegate on. (I think it's now a 44mm)I can run as low as 5psi now. And I made a 4" dp. The rest of kit is untouched.
