408 turbo size question
a buddy dropped his car off for me to complete . it has a 408 cu in LS , square port heads w/ mild work, a unknown at this time tick turbo cam, and a pair of turbos that measure 76/102 mm on compressor and 73/64 mm turbine .81 ar housing. this is a 6 speed car.
this looks like an old 11 blade stage 5 T3 turbine wheel and i am concerned it will not make power as it revs up.
I have to build the hot side and I am considering changing to borg S366 turbos. Not sure which turbine.
looking for power capabilities of 600-900 rwhp.
ideas?

I have never heard any complaints about twin s366's... ever.
So if you have doubts about the current turbos, then switching to a proven setup, like a pair of s366's, should be a safe and easy choice.
PS. Sschoeffler, your signature is too f!cking funny.

Guess that's the route I'm going. I'll purchase them as soon as turbotater "mike" is ready for the car. Everything else I have bought for the car is out of warranty by a Looooooong time, even though the parts have 0 miles.
Lol on sig comment. Went abstinent for a while when she seen it, but guess what, its still there and has been for years.
