were you using megasquirt?

ive had good luck with the 7s
just didnt know if it would be a good idea to go a bit colder once the boost and timing both get to the grenading point...lol

7s are the coldest resisted plug. My MS didn't like non-resistor plugs. The car that I ran 9s/10s in wasn't using mega squirt. Wouldn't' hurt to run a cooler plug IMO. You just need to install some resisted plug boots to keep the MS happy. I'll be running them on my mustang with 8's.

These work well.

The terminator hood is a legitimate and functional heat extraction hood, and should probably be used if fitment allows. Heat is bad, hmm-kay? The hood is also one of the things that makes a terminator a terminator.

I didn't say anything bad about this car. Nothing. I said I was sad that it doesn't have much terminator stuff left, but I also still referred to it as a cool car.

If there's any confusion about this, feel free to PM me.

To the OP: I like your car.

That is post #18, it is a reply to post #15 by lowslung85, where he tells me to keep my negative comments to myself. However, there are no negative comments from me about this car. I like the OP's Terminator and have said so. Why is this coming back up?

pulled a monster wheelie a few weeks ago and hurt the trans on the next pass.
while it was out i put a ptc 9.5 inch converter in the car.

first pass with the new trans it went 8.87 at 153

picked up a decent amount of et on less boost and got me my first 8 second pass

Congrats on your first 8! It's always amazing what a converter can do.

it hasnt always gone smoothly...lol
ive torn up the balancer, front struts, wastegate, and now the transmission in the process.
its getting there though...

slowly but surely chipping away et

still running a th400, it had an alan pope 245mm converter in it
it worked awesome until i turned it up over 20 lbs or so
started losing mph out the back once it had a decent amount of boost in it

Congrats! What IC are you running again?

Should be another 6-7mph in that turbo at your weight easy if you want to turn it up.

I just grabbed the VSracing s480 to try. Back pressure didn’t change with the 1.32 T6 though so I think my 2” hotside is done.

I actually picked up almost 3mph going to the “1200hp” treadstone VS the ebay cheapie on the smaller exh wheel Apex 76. Not a bad gain for $450. And it literally bolted in place of my ebay cheapie, I didn't have to redo any piping.

i might try out a non intercooled setup next year...if not ill probably give that treadstone intercooler a shot.

im not seeing a big iat increase on high boost but it could still have a pretty decent pressure drop across the cheapo core

Decided to try and ramp the boost in a little quicker for my last race of the year and set a new pb three times throughout the day.

first pass went a 5.68 @ 123 on a 1.29 sixty

next pass i got a little more aggressive and went 5.63 @ 123 on a 1.22 60'. Car was still doing a wheelie when i needed to change gears and let it hit the limiter instead of taking my hand off the steering wheel.

turned the boost up to 25psi and went 5.52 at 126 on a 1.23 60'
carrying the fronts to the 60 foot mark

Had one more pass for the day and decided to shoot for the moon. turned it up to 27-28 lbs but the 60' dropped off and it only went 5.58 at 127 and change.

Ended up winning the race for the day, setting a new record in et and mph for the series, and finishing 2nd in the championship by 4 points.

Nice! Why do you think it slowed down with 3-4 more psi?
