Default S475 92 to 83 turbine size

While the car is down for the winter, I was thinking of switching the 92 for an 83 turbine (T4)
Are they the same ext size, and 4" out, so I don't have to rework my plumbing-what about the wheel inside
Thanks

im a little confused. you are say you want to go from 92 to 83 (T4).... the turbine itself isnt t4 or t6.. what is your current turbine house? are you going from t6 to t4?

if you are asking what i think you are asking yes i do believe the dp flange is the size

What's the reason for wanting to go smaller on the turbine?

The turbine wheel and housing go together so you have to change both. Your downpipe may still work though. I would call your supplier for a final answer.

The ONLY reason for downsizing would be to help spool... id say to invest inna 50 or 75 shot to eliminate lag all together.. and make mooaaarr powa

maybe you need to look elsewhere in the combination if you have spooling issues with a 92mm turbine S475.

People can have that unit making 10 psi before 3k rpm with 5.3's when its done right.

I need to pull it off and see what #'s it is now, like the AR
I start boost around 3500, then hits like a freight train
Used to Prochargers, where I had power down low
