Default Sad day for my turbo TA!!

Well I'm sad to say that my car has been wrecked. Unfortunately the insurance company is totaling it so I'll be buying it back and putting it in a roller. The car guys worst nightmare. This was at a local street outlaws even in Colorado. I walked away so for that I am thankful just sucks to see the hard work go down the tubes. The car was just finished in June. If you know of a nice roller for sale let me know.

Went into a field and there was a dutch at the end. Hit the burm in front of the ditch and went airborn. Flew about 20 feet hit the ground and then rolled to a stop.

Still sorry to see that man, this is the guy that came and talked to you as you loaded the car and told you about the over priced roller.

Thanks man. Yea trying to find a roller is hard. Especially since I have some kinda high standards. But something will turn up. Was a rough few days after looking at the car but its all working out. Insurance is taking care of it.

I love the Sunset orange part as that's been the color I've always wanted but it'd have to be a TA. I like the SS's but I love the more aggressive look of a TA.

Not a bad idea but a clean roller with a cage in it already would make my life a lot easier and probably actually save me some money.

Good luck on your search! I too have looked for the "right" roller. But continue to find disappointment after disappointment. Hoping your efforts are more fruitful.

Thanks man. What kinda roller have you been looking for? Camaro, Mustang, TA? I'm just curious. I'll go out of state if I have too to find one.

I feel your pain, sir. But you should be more than thankful any time you get to walk away from a vehicle that went airborne.

It's just a car, man. That may sound extremely insensitive, but you have your life, the use of your legs... You came out on top and got to keep way more than you lost.

Glad to hear you're ok, and good luck with your search for a decent roller.

Be thankful you are ok. Almost 7 years ago I wrecked a Vette after it was done....just had a built trans installed and it too put down 400ish rwhp. I was too banged up to even consider buying mine back. You will find a car...

Thanks guys. I'm very thankful for walking away and just being able to see my family and friends again. Definitely puts a lot into perspective.

I have a soft spot for Zephyr Z7 or Fairmont Sport coupes. But like you, I want an 8.50 cage in it (done right) and a few other goodies. But I want a street car. I like to drive my stuff to and from the track. The current one runs high 11's and is fun. But it's time to step it up. I agree, traveling will be your best bet. Keep an eye on RacingJunk as well.
