Default Pulling trigger on turbo/turbos today need advise

I have a stb 5.3 installing in car while I build my 370 Cid, so what I put on my 5.3 will have to work on my 370 I'm torn between twins or a single. Was looking at the s366 66/73 .91ar or a single maybe s480. Goals are low 8s in a 3200lb car mainly track occasional sundays. Will have supporting fuel and chassis. Any advise would be great

Twin 66s will make a lot more power, putting you in the 8s easier, but will be more difficult to package depending on what car you have, plus two oil lines, more vacuum lines

I have a couple new Turbonetics 6668's Id make a deal on. I've used the same ones on my 5.3 and it made 1050whp and went 8.5x's in a 3450lb car. Little easier to spool than the bigger turbines on the Borgs.

I have 2 brand new 6766 precisions for sale they were speced for my 370 but I ended up buying a 440ci so I need bigger turbos now...pm if interested. Twin Borgs are going to be hard to package they are twice the physical size of a precision 6766.

Not twice the size. The S400's yes but not the 366.

What company was that? I'm in the market too and that sounds like a smoking deal.

Yeah but still bigger than the smaller 64-65mm turbine t4's you see on the on3's, master power, turbonetics hurricanes, etc. these all have smaller covers and are very compact. S366 is a great bang for buck but slightly larger in physical size. T6 s400 is massive! Lol
