At this point I had been using the same 408 for about five years before I lifted the heads when the big turbo got away from me. Slapped new head gaskets in it and another waste gate and it still was being too hard to control without redoing the hot side. So, with that and watching people trying bull **** line games in kc I switched to the 80mm.

At this point I made the best decision for the car that I have ever made and took skinnies and max Mitchell s advice to switch to holley. At the same time I got a call from the producers of street outlaws to do an episode in Colorado. We'll long story short they were short on time, plans changed, so with no time they asked me to put together whoever I could and I called friends from Wyoming to Missouri. My car wasn't even running when we headed down to okc.

It would be sick to do. Sometimes I wish I would've spent the money on the new car on the chassis of the trans am

On a serious note, I should probably pick your brain on how you are getting those head gaskets to last so long (although you never really said if you have a head gasket maintenance schedule or boost/timing numbers).

I got a pretty stout 408 in my ol pick up truck with an f2 procharger hung off the side of it and it likes to eat head gaskets for breakfes lunsh and diiiinner.
