Default HX55 toyota hilux ls1 757rwhp Australia!

This is my Toyota Hilux.

Its ls1 swapped and currently has a HX55 from a Cummins diesel!
tuned it today and have boost cut at 8psi until i fit larger injectors and an intercooler.

Wastegate can't dump enough but it made 400rwhp at 4200rpm at 8psi

Problem im having is it smokes at idle when hot and inbetween gear changes.... what can this be? it has a -16 drain straight down into the top of a winged sump...

Nice. Did you put a restriction in the oil feed to the turbo?

No it's a journal bearing, and they don't have a restrictor when they are on a truck...

Fixed the smoking issue, I made some custom 1.5" breathers in each rocker cover. The blowby was enough to block the drain so to speak! Happy as now!!!

Mine also smoked so I added a restriction and the smoking stopped, we will see if it burns the bearings or not..

How much boost this go around? This thing is like the Aussie version of Denmah's (Matt's) current build. Love it!
