turbo build questions
Whats up guys, awhile ago i started a project on my99 camaro when the rod bearing spun. I was going to do some small things with a 5.3 and turbo but ended up changing routes. I have a few questions that i haven't been able to find direction answers too yet.
1) Since the car has a factory MAF and I am switching to speed density, Is the a factory plug for a IAT sensor? I see the actual sensor on the front of the intake lid but when i bought the car is had a fast 102 and 102 throttle body on it. It has 5 wires coming out of the mad plug. Im not 100 percent sure what is going on here and how to convert it to IAT for my charge pipe. I have screw in threads on my charge pipe, What IAT sensor do i need?
2) when mounting the griffin radiator do you need to cut the inner ledge of the front support bracket? hard to explain but i hope you catch my drift.
Im sure more and more questions will arise as i install some things.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that some of the wires to the MAF are for IAT and you would remove them from your MAF connector and run them to your IAT that you would be adding.

Tan and purple wires are for the IAT on a 99.
You can use any IAT sensor that threads into the charge pipe as long as the voltage scaling is the same as the stock sensor.
