That's a lot of compression for most fuel !

And sounds like it's cammed to be a screamer if it's making that power n/a ?

Yeh it's full solid roller turning 7800rpm at the moment

Was wondering if I can get away with boosting it without new pistons

I'd say the cam is bound to be horrific, at least for a turbo application.

Maybe with a centri blower it might be ok.

I'm sure with some great fuel ( methanol ? ) you could add some boost at that CR, I wouldnt be getting too greedy though. And no doubt the pistons will not be very robust in terms of detonation resistance being a n/a piston.

It's just not asking for boost at all as is.

Using methanol would be the better path to take IMO, thats a f-lot of compression

Make sure your back pressure is 1:1 or better (think huge twin setup). If that cam is right for the motor NA... generally it's right for the motor in boost. Methanol fuel would be a must. 12-13:1 is pretty common with methanol and boost these days.
