Got some more work done
Cleaned it up clear coated it
Motor meet tranny... tranny dont get attached... motor might not be around long
Swapped rear seal, but realized its probably the oil sensor or where the cam sensor goes in. Idk, dont care. Ill put a drip pan under it haha. I tried.

Sorry for the multiple uploads my phone is a real dick sometimes. I jammed it in athe 1AM after work cause I had the "unfinished business" feeling all day. It was kind of cocked sideways but it was because the dam shift linkage was rammed into the head. Another problem was the drain fitting was hitting the crossmember, I don't know what idiot put that in before installing the motor.. okay it was me. Haha I'll try to find like a parker 45 or something and get away with it. If not I can just plug the hole, or blow the car up. Whatever works. I just want to roast these tires already

Are you going to be able to fit a 45* without it hitting the cross-member? Looks really close.
I remember one instal I did, I think it was a Miata, I had to use a grommet in the pan & ran a 1/2" 90* hose barb fitting. That way you just push it in the grommet, no turning needed. I made an aluminum "support" to make sure it stayed in place. It bolted to the pan rail, came down to the outside & hooked under the hose so it covered it & kept it in place.
I used right stuff on the grommet & the barb fitting & it never leaked. It was pretty solid without the support bracket but I figured "better to be safe than sorry".

Not sure how much room you have below the balancer, but on my GM Hot Rod pan I was able to drill/tap a hole and use a #10-1/2" pipe fitting right
below the balancer for my return (I used a vette balancer)
Who's mounts did you use, look close to the ones I have from BRP-I know UMI came out with one that I thought would sit lower

These are the UMI mounts. they aren't too bad. As long as the truck intake fits I'll be really happy. If it doesn't I will still probably be happy haha.
GT that sounds like a neat idea, I will see what I can come up with space wise I have a couple ideas

Like I said it actually turned out pretty decent. IIRC, I used like 18 or 20G Almunimun. I had a metal shop close to me that has the ability to turn a radius on one end & a 90 on the other. With a vise, a BFH, some wood blocks & a 1" steel dowel I could have probably done the same thing. But my guy there likes me bringing in different little projects for him to break the normalcy of doing heating & cooling fab stuff. He cateres to those of us that like doing strange stuff. He's made everything from battery boxes to Intercooler tanks for me to weld. The end tanks looked sweet with diamond plate,

Sweet build, should be lots of fun once you get it on the road. Lots of good progress too!
I did something similar to forcd ind on my oil return as well. Pretty sure I put some pics up on my thread showing the location.

I mounted the drain on the front of my truck pan as well. Rigtht where that angle comes accross to the pass. side. So did a buddy. Just gotta be careful to have it over just far enough to clear the bolt, don't go too low.

Sweet! all awesome suggestions. Trying to make it happen, I am still trying to make it to drag weekend in the end of March, we will see though. I am going to check out some fittings at the local hardware store, might do a hose barbed style set up with some parker push lock hose for the return. Idk I just got to stare at it for a few minutes.
Yeah I just saw your location Agent. Looks legit. I saw some people using the oil level sensing port as a return, but I read it's not ideal being that its under the windage tray and could possibly revert oil.. blah blah haha so I put it right into the crossmember... Brilliant! I am looking at manifolds, I have a couple sets. One set is the c6 vette style and a truck EGR style. It looks like I'll do a flipped up passenger side and a c6 driver side possibly. I still haven't decided exactly where I want the turbo. I want to do a below the front fender exit first see how I like it.
Mapping out my fuel system right now. I have a 15 gal fuel cell, it'll go into a 100 micron filter then the pump and then a 30 micron filter then to the truck rails. the stock lines have a section that is rubber hose, so I am contemplating just replacing both with new line. I was hoping to just use the stock line. Anyone had issues with hose clamping rubber line to some aluminum?

Car part boxes should have a sticker "Caution: may cause excessive blood flow to genitals" cause that's totally what happened
When you are a car guy, it's always christmas
