You cannot compare the 2 controllers. The ams1000 was developed in 2004. The technology in the 2000 is night and day from the 1000. Its speed, accuracy and flexibility is on a entirely different level than anything out there including stand alones ecu boost control and the ams1000 which completely dominated the boost control market.
Its not a sales pitch. Its a fact. Anybody who switches from a 1000 to a 2000 pick up et and its a minimum of .03 et.
Here is a qoute from Nick Agostino 10.5 racer "Atleast .03....we ran 4.11 best with the 1000 in our 10.5 car in good conditions...put a 2000 in...off the trailer 4.09....4.07...4.05..."
These guys all had 1000's and switched.
