Default Afr for e85

What am I looking for as far as afr using e85 for a safe tune? What's the e85 equivalent to like 11.5/1?

So I just change the stoich value to 9.765 and leave everything else alone? My wideband won't read 7 something?

I use the holley system and just keep my AFR on the gas scale.

Correct. If GM PCM, stoich to 9.77 and just read your WB on the gas scale.
Or Lambda if you are comfortable with that.

You don't have to change anything...you can still target 11.5 on a wideband setup for gas when running e85.

Lambda 0.780
e85 7.613
gas 11.466

Are all the same thing

We didn't change anything, just running it as is. Is 11.5 still a safe target? We're in the high 10s right now just tuning on the gates getting everything dialed in

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you don't know this and you're doing the tuning you should stop. Go read more on the hptuners forum and in the timing section. Or go pay someone so you don't hurt your engine/self/someone.

Would like to hear from some others along with a little detail on setup, HP and/or time slip.

So it is still set to 14.68 I take it?

If you aren't using and dont plan on using the o2's then I don't think it matters if you change the stoich or not. Your boost enrich and power enrich table still gets set to the same value no matter what the stoich is set at.

We wound up turning them off, they kept trying to correct like 30%. They were going crazy for some reason and made idle and part throttle tuning damn near impossible

If someone states lambda, just multiply it by 14.7 to get what you want. So, .75 to .80 lambda is 11.025 to 11.76. Would be nice to also know the combo and power level/ET.

Posted my combo in an earlier post. Hit 1028 on the gates. Going to start turning it up next week
