broken procharger head units,,,,
just wondering who else has had issues with procharger head units eating themselves up or chucking impellers?
it seems to me that a lot of F series (F1-r,F1-x , F3 ) head units have been self destructing in the past year or so, and procharger's reply is " user abuse" regardless whether it was or not.
should they warranty their headunits that get damaged when used within their tolerances? ??
should they cover the head units that get destroyed one pass after being rebuilt by them ??
what do you guys think?

The F1X 4.200 and F1C 10.5 have been the ones with issues, and not all of them. Usually the ones that are overspun and are on gear drives are subject to more abuse than is designed for. The F3's and F1R have been really good blowers though.

I beg to differ SSvert99, I had my F3-136 fail so many times its not funny ( I lost count after 7) , the F2 I had on my mustang failed while breaking in the engine , so I sent in in and got it repaired for $1800 ( can't say anything there cause I bought the blower back from a friend ,) ,,, got it back and it failed after a few miles. and now they say its driver abuse and want me to pay $2500 to fix it . the blower was never overspun , has a sprag pulley to help it out and the car is an auto.
on the other hand my other F2 on my Camaro is gear driven , over spun , hits the rev limiter a lot of times , and in general beaten on regularly and guess what ,,, no issues.
I've seen so many blowers just eat themselves for no reason. the issue they are having is blowers produced / serviced after a certain date are blowing up ,,, might be shitty parts, could be bad assembly ,,,, who knows.
no mercy, you should see how many more units **** the bed after the date of the last post in that thread!
ironblocked , thanks for the link.
