Default Different Turbo LS build

OK, if I can get these pics on here, this is what I'm working on. Always wanted a gasser, so since a 51 Dodge business coupe only looks good as a gasser I decided to go this route. Rear fender openings will be radiused, have a 2000 explorer 8.8, narrowed and a 3.27 gear. 400 turbo, 20 gal fuel cell. Converted the front end to tilt. Now when I said before I have plenty of room you know what I mean. It'll have disc all around also. I'm going to run it some so when I couldn't afford a BBC with a 8.71, the best way to make a lot of hp was a turbo LS. Probably the only LS powered gasser around but what the hell.

Can't wait to see yours completed, should be cool when done! I have the same Gasser affliction. Mine's not even done and I've considered going the LS route.

That's pretty cool.
I made my ladder bars, 1 in square with 3/4 CM rod ends. A bunch of us are going with a heads up deal at our track, haven't raced in 4 yrs, thought it'd be fun to race. I need to find some rear wheels like that. I really like the falcon gassers, you don't ever see the pick ups anymore. What did they call them, can't think right now. You got build thread on that any where. You need to put that on gasser hot rods. Pretty good site.

Also, that's why I want twins, pipe down each side, just wouldn't look right with 1, LOL.

They're called Rancheros. I don't have a build thread. I really should, just unsure where to post it that some folks may enjoy it. I agree on the twins. I'd do the same thing. I run in a heads up class in another car and love it! I'm sure you'll be hooked in no time. This is the best thing that can happen to a Dodge business coupe!

You got that right, they're pretty ugly any other way. I was thinking ranchero, but I thought they were bigger cars. I know I haven't seen 1 in a long time. I bracket raced a long time, it just gets boring.
