weekend up date. changed how the fuel pumps were set up i the hat and I'm much happier with it now. finished the vacuum lines and the fuel system completely. forgot to cut the evap line and hook it to the return line and all was fine for a little bit but then started to over pressure whatever the evap line connects to before the hat and lets just say 2 450s move a lot of fuel to the ground FAST!!! lol. Went for a little drive shut it down and went to start back up and move into the garage. no start. hmmmm pulled pumps out. all lines were fine. fuel pressure gauge wasn't reading anything. I used a starter relay to power my pumps and well it doesn't like 28 amps continuously and burned up. so order a golf cart continuous 150 amp should be here tomorrow (amazon prime ftw).
also did a thing today. anyone that has standard hptuners and wants to log there afrs in the gauges and charts check this out. I went thru the egr sensor plug for this unlike the video.

call the tuner monday and going to set up a time for a good base tune. stay tuned.

quick update for those of you following.
Hauled the car up to strictly performance yesterday. base tune went well for the most part. had to change an o2 sensor while i was up there. it was bugging out and trying to add a bunch of fuel to bank 1. ran down to the closest advance auto and we were in good shape. after about hour and a half or so of idling while he was working on the tables we noticed she started to get pretty hot. was hovering around 240. he didnt want to put it on the dyno because itd get hotter in there. went on a short trip around the town and things got better. so the car is running and driving now. nothing crazy needs to be done before june 29th.
need to put on a:
turbo blanket
extra rad fan
change to lower thermostat
add hobbs switch for 2nd fuel pump
also im still having tranny issues. 1 thru 5 no problems. 6th acts like a false gear. shifter will go down but itll be gearless until i pop it back out and play with it. then i can get it. also reverse is a bitch to get into. any ideas?
overall im happy. car seems pretty decent. we shall see. makes exciting turbo noises

well guys I've put a total of 15 miles on it so far and omg. its not fast yet but holy crap it sounds amazing. bumper dumper is not very loud causing down the road. gonna drive it to work tomorrow. does small first gear burn outs. got the interior back together today so we should be good to go. also gave her a good wash. hopefully the sti doesn't get jealous and break down on me lol. stay tuned for more front mount pics they're my favorite.

Also since the tuner i have put a turbo blanket on. another fan should be here this weekend. still need to order boost controller and a 160 thermostat. also i had to break down and order motor mounts. when i take right turns it must be crooked enough that the driveshaft appears to be hitting the torque arm. those should be here tomorrow. hopefully going in this weekend.

got the 160 degree thermostat in. got my new 7 inch puller in. and temps seem to have steadied out at 220 idling and drop down once i start driving it around. also add some water wetter and that seems to be helping out. i ordered another 7 inch fan to use as another puller directly under the first 7 inch. then I'm out of room. gotta change the motor mounts through out the week and we should be good to go. and run wiring for new hobbs switch.

Nice build, basically what I will be doing for my skylark, budget turbo build. It's going to be a fun one once I get the parts together.
Is your cooling issues normal to these f bodies or something that is someone unique to your build?

ill post video later but took her to get dialed in. we made 535 whp and 580 wtq on a mustang dyno with slightly warm iats pulling a few degrees out. tuner says on street he wouldnt doubt around 600whp.
7665 14.5 psi 18 degrees e85
at 8 psi we were at 400/440
im pleased with the baby turbo. gets down on the street thats for sure.
also as a side not i went for a ride in the tuners 1000+ whp vette. holy **** that was kinda scary. its crazy fast. i thought to myself this would be a great way to die if it were to happen lol.
stay tuned for rolling burn out vids next week haha

little update for those who are following. i had to swap radiators. went iwth a stand up griffin rad like most do. now running 1 12 inch pusher and 1 12 inch puller. temps rarely hit 205 even after a pull. before it would heat soak after a pull. would get up to like 230 in a hurry and didnt wanna come down from it. now i just have traction issues. put on a set of et streets the bias ply version (older cheater slick basically) and still cant get it to hook up. damn 6 speeds. car rolls out tho. gonna take it to the track hopefully soon and see what we run.

i believe its this one. i bought it like 2 years ago and got a good deal since its close by. it has slipped once so far tho after banging a few gears and shifting hard. let out and it hooked back up and hasn't slipped since. i also bought it when i though i was just doing nitrous on a basic ls1

Good job mate !! Love your setup!! I've eared CX turbos got way better nowadays, i'd go that route too if it wasn't about my heart begging for some root s/c lol, turbo's are so much more efficients compared to sc's.

well guys 1st motor is down.did some hard back to back racing and i think she spun a bearing. haven't torn into her yet but will this week. found a gen 4 4.8 at my local yard for 450 with 280k on it. how you guys feel about that? i know matt has ran a high mile motor for a while now. cheapest gen 4 that i can find without having to throw my old heads and stuff on a short block.
