P1sc Procharger upgrade
#21
I did a little checking into my fuel setup:
The fuel pressure is at 62psi and drop to about 55 at WOT. Something the mechanic noticed is the fuel pressure drops very quickly after the car is shut off. Not sure if that is normal or not.
The injectors are: 24508208 which appear to be 42 lb.
It has the Procharger fuel booster, but it is bypassed. We were actually getting better fuel pressure throughout the RPM range with it disconnected (as in, removed the fuse). The booster may be bad. If so, I'd much rather replace the actual pump then replace the booster.
it is a 1998 with a metal tank. But I am having troubles finding a part number for a big enough pump (400+) Any suggestions (with part numbers) would be greatly appreciated.
Also curious if I just need the pump, or if I'll need a kit.
