Default New LME Mid Deck Dart Next Race Motor Pics added

Almost done so I thought I would post the new motor build. LME mid deck Dart Next Iron block, filled. Oil squirters. New All Pro heads ported by LME. Billet Crank, Jesel belt drive. LME custom wet sump oiling system. Daley pump.

Bryan can post up some pics and other specifics. My old motor has served me VERY well. So reliable!!!! Looking for my new one to be just as reliable and make more power. Should be done soon.

Mid deck meaning what exactly? Did you completely fill or only do a half fill?

Your new motor has big shoes to fill, but I'm sure you know that and have full faith. 181 mph in the 8th at your weight is just ******* insane big power.

Which all pro's did you go with?

Why the change ? Going to a different class ? Looking forward to seeing the final product, I've enjoyed watching your last phase of race car build.

To stay competitive at my level I needed to update the heads.

Mid deck is .200 taller Leaves room for a stronger piston. Better location for the piston pin and rings.

Just out of curiousity, why not just go ahead and move straight to the tallest deck they have? I just can't really see the point in spending this kind of money for an extra .200 in deck height when the tall deck motor would only offer further advantages. Maybe I'm missing something.

You guys obviously have your **** together better than most, so my question is out of curiosity. Not to be taken as a negative comment please.

Not at all,, LME wanted the mid deck for a better piston. I've never had a piston issue but they are looking ahead. I go with their advice. I also don't need more cubes with the small 76 T4 turbos I run.
