This has been way more helpful than I thought. Was afraid I wouldn't get any answers. Seems at this point incannotnfind a reason not to do a turbo setup after my shop is done being built. 22000$ in it so far, just for slab and steel. Once it is up and the lift is installed, I'll be ready to knock out as many customer cars as possible and then jump on my own projects while I can.

That AEM has me excited to know I won't need a ton of cash for fuel system.

Do you happen to have a part # for this pump? Or what application to ask for at the counter to try and find it?

So it is looking like 300-350$ for the deka 80 injectors. Not sure if it is even possible to go cheaper and still have a reliable set. That's better than the 450 or so I usually see.

I wonder how far the stock E85 injectors can push on a mild setup from a 07-14 truck? They are 54lbs. I know they are 110$ new and if using the stock truck 07-14 intake and fuel rails, they are a direct fit.

You can make 600 wheel on 54 lb injectors. Anymore than that and you might need a 2nd pump to raise pressure without losing too much flow.

You can get the AEM 380's for $125 on Ebay. I'd go that route for reliability.

If you really wanted cheap the 044 knock offs are $30. They flow great for the money. Buy yourself a 2 3-way pneumatic valves for $6 ea and run 3 of these pumps. For $90 nothing else comes close. Drill the feed out to -12 and you've got a monster fuel pump for under $100.

Buddy tested 2 in parallel at 13.5v @ 70psi they put out 95 gal/hr...

good LORD. I am always weary of the external pumps, the noise, and heat makes me feel weak. But... credit where credit is due. I thought I was "good" with my $200 fuel system but this takes the cake at half the price.

No more plumbing than running 2 really. And If you only have one pump running for cruise and have the other 2 kick on in boost it won't heat the fuel much. It will pull some amps though...

Well, you can run them all in line with only one running and it won't struggle?

From what I have read the 044 pumps flow better than Walbro's for higher hp numbers. .
The real ones, sure. The fake ones-not so much. I have seen several of them fail as well

Any input for blow off valve, waste gate, boost controller? Leaning to make one of my piles of **** happen soon. Even have a rear mount turbo setup I'll be doing on a friends Silverado. Going to run a dedicated rear mount oil cell for the turbo as well.

If you are on a budget, skip the boost controller. Try and find a good used (not china) WG and BOV in the classifieds.

I use eBay boost controllers. Work fine.

So do the 50mm Tial knockoff BOVs. Squeeze has them for like $50.

Have heard a knock off tial with a tial diaphragm is a hell of a way to go.

Not sure about the WG yet ether. Prefer a new cheap one if possible.

I use a Tial knockoff BOV. I have absolutely zero complaints. If you look hard enough you can score them for $45 or so.

As for wastegates, it's a toss up. The main thing about a knockoff gate is the poor diaphragm quality. Most of them work excellent, but you have to be careful when changing springs or youll pinch them.

I did a write-up here on using a real Tial diaphragm in a knockoff gate after pinching mine while changing springs.
