Default Aster bracket and cbm 8.65 crank step on it

Im in the middle of doing headgaskets and headstuds and last year i had belt slip with a 3.7 and the 8.65 crank and this belt ATES K080530HD FleetRunner®; K08 1-3/32" x 53-1/2"

on the setting closest to the drivers side . I tried it in the middle like another member told me and i couldnt get the belt on . He used the same belt .

So whos running a 3.7 and 8.65 ?

You had belt slippage with the Aster bracket with a P-1SC-1? Bob

Yeah I think so. It make like 14 lbs the first run. Then I would go again and have like half that.

I think only 1 other guy is running the combo so no one can tell me what exactly to run

If the belt was slipping that much you would have black belt dust all over the blower. The Aster bracket can easily handle an F-1A with zero belt slippage, I would look into a boost leak somewhere. Bob

Also remove your floormat. It sounds dumb, but it was my problem. Data logs showed only around 85-90 throttle. The mat moved around and blocked the pedal at the bottom.
