Hello yall, I have a 66 Chevy Bel air that currently has a 400 sbc in it. The small block is constantly giving me problems and I want to go faster with fuel injection. I want a twin turbo ls3 set up. Which ls3 would yall recommend? Some have told me to go with a 6.0 and others have told me 5.3. Let me know what yall think and also what trans to go with that. I am brand new to this so im sorry if this is a dumb question haha. Thanks for all the help and advice!

LS3 is a 6.2L engine that came in C6 Corvettes and Gen 5 Camaros.

Each engine has it's own designator, typically based on cubic inches and bore. 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, 6.2, 6.2 Supercharged, 7.0. There all have their own designators, some have both aluminum and cast iron versions.

Essentially you need to set a budget and goals. Cast iron 4.8 and 5.3 are going to be cheapest used engine and then price goes up.

with a Turbo setup, which LS you want becomes less important.
you pick if you want Aluminum or iron block. with you're weight, displacement/torque will work in your favor. I'll personally go GenIV 6.0-6.2L. which would be LS2, LS3, LQ4,LQ9
