Hi guys, I did some research but haven't found a really definitive answer so I thought I'd send out the bat signal. I put this post in Fueling too but thought I'd get an answer here faster lol. I'm currently running a Walbro 255, hotwire kit and Siemen 60's on my turbo 02 Camaro SS just over 500 rwhp. My buddy has a walbro 450 he wants to trade me but I don't know what additional mods are required to run this pump at my hp level or up to 600 rwhp. I don't have the cash to redo the fuel system so is this a good idea? Thanks for any input guys!

You can get 700 whp on E85 with a single 450 and 80 lb SD injectors before you start to run out.

Plenty of pump. It's a direct replacement of the 255. I just did the swap on mine.

So what about the return line and external regulator and all that stuff? Is all that needed for pump 92 and below 600rwhp? I have the hotwire kit in the car already and I can beef up the bulkhead wiring I just don't have the cash to install a dedicated return line and aftermarket regulator.

Im getting over 600whp with my 250 pump. i got a 450 sitting in the garage incase it dies but I have shown signs Of running out of injector/pump yet. I plan on building a 408 with small boost and then throw in the 450. It shouldnt need any mods,just replacing the 250 for the 450 and call it a day.
