Default Cooling setup needed, overheating

What radiator is everyone running to cool their boosted setups? I'm running a 408 with a procharger, stock radiator and having overheating issues.

I'm running a front mount Huron speed AC turbo kit and was getting hot on 90+ degree days. I notch the core support and slid a big *** BeCool radiator in the near stock location and haven't had a problem since.

Notched support.

Completed install.

Is it overheating (not stabilizing/boiling over) or running warmer than you'd like? Give us some more info.

I run a Universal Griffin radiator, 2 of the 2500 CFM pusher fans, and a 180* thermostat. Stays nice and cool

I switched to an LT1 radiator with my procharger setup and it dropped the temps. All the procharger stuff was used (single fan, duel intercoolers....) Of coarse I was not running a 408 either so that will probably change results for you. I did have a thread a while back about the swap. I had taken pictures of both radiators side by side and the LT1 is a thicker unit. That would be a cheap option however you will probably need to spend some money on a nice radiator and some good fans.

I run an LT1 radiator also, but run warm too because of the underdrive.

I been fight overheating for ages on mine in this hot weather. 408 procharged. Have a be cool rad and notched the support to fit in the stock location. Still overheated. Few month of being pissed off with it put a pressure tester on and the cap was bad. Now it says it's get to 232 and slowly rises but I think the temp sensor is going so going to put in a 180 thermostat at the same time and it should cure it.

Also I have 2 puller fans with a custom made shroud to force the fans to suck through the radiator.

I put up a little thing about it in my build with pics. Really easy to make a custom shroud.
