Default S/C stock ls1 worth the money

I have a 99 z28 camaro with a stock t56 tranny. I have pacesetter long tubes and off road y. 100k on the engine and drivetrain. I was thinking of buying a supercharger kit from magnuson for next year's tax return season. I bought my car for 68 hundred and the kit is about 8 grand! So the kit would be more than my car. I've been interested in the TVS2300 supercharger kitdumfrom magnuson. I don't plan on rebuilding if I do buy the kit. My plan for the car is a max HP street car thank you for any replies any suggestions are welcome.

I did a TVS1800 kit for a guy's stock LS1 GTO a few years back. Motor was all stock with headers and the kit. Made 500/500 to tire on 9-10psi. Even had the stock cat back. For the money there are better options to get more power, but its an easy job at least.

Turbos are going to be much better bang for the buck.
I usually do a full build/install/dyno tune for less than you can just buy any supercharger kit on the market.

If you want a supercharger, I'm sure there are vendors here can work with you on pricing. There are lots of vendors here that sell lots of different kits.

procharger is cheaper and still minimally evasive install.

But, that is a tried and true kit with a TON of R&D and real world miles. If you have the cash I wouldn't hesitate. Just know you'll need to do supporting mods later down the road as items quickly wear out.

The answer is no, since you put max hp street car as a criteria.
F bodies are too cheap to turbo, to bother with anything else.
budget wise and power wise it's not worth the money, well my money anyway, might be still worth it to you

I like the d1 procharger as an option.
And I've also looked into turbo kits just can't find any that interest me enough to buy one,, my plan was to run that in till I literally spin a bearing or snap an axle ! So I guess thats in the strip/street class or category. another question though with a turbo set up will my rear end last? How many hard launches before they break? Is a built 9 inch something I should look into 1st before making more power?

That stock 10 bolt won't last very many hard launches with a power adder. As long as you're not trying to yank the wheels, it'll hold up for a little bit on street tires.

Take a look at this kit that I sell. I take the ProCharger 1GJ204-SCI D-1SC 8 rib kit with the thicker 4.5" twin intercooler and add Siemens 60lb Fuel Injectors with 80lb Siemens option, Walbro GSS340 Fuel Pump with 2nd pump option, ATI Performance Products 918853 Harmonic Balancer & ATI ProCharger Crank Pinning Kit. You'll need to get different spark plugs (NGK pn# 4177 work great) and get a tune for it. Bob
