Default 2 Port JGS 60 BOV used to regulate boost???

I see the new 60mm BOV has two vacuum ports that was designed for blower guys to regulate boost. Has anyone used one to act as a wastegate AND BOV?

I have a blower coyote that I installed a 16psi pulley and I am going to regulate it to 10-11psi to gain a bunch of mid range power.

I'm more interested to see if anyone has done it or how exactly it would work.

I did it with my Big Red ages ago.

It's dead simple and works fine, just need a suitable controller, although I just used my ecu.

I'm guessing a basic manual boost controller wouldn't work then?

There is no way an MBC will work for this.

You need an electronic controller. It doesnt need anything fancy though, but ecu control is best and will give the most options

I just ordered this BOV for my D1SC. Did you ever go about using it as a boost controller? If so, how'd you route it and how was reliability on it? What springs did you use? Did you use an EBC? If so, which one did you go with?

FYI, I accidentally hooked mine up wrong and put the manifold reference to the lower port when I dynoed my car on wastegate only and couldn't get over 6.3 pounds of boost. I realized my mistake and switched the ports while still strapped to the dyno and went right to 12.1 on the next 2 pulls.

My BOV had the medium spring in it BTW.
