Default Should I leave oil cooler off this time

I have a 5.3 bored to ls1 bore forged bottom end. Arp everything studs top and bottom 853 heads ticky ls2 v2 227/231 can and btr 660s ls6 intake single on3 88 with log manifold and crossover in my s10 I had bad luck last engine builder screwed my motor up didn't even get 500 miles out of it so while waiting for money to rebuild I threw a stock 5.3 in for fun and it made about 4 10psi passes and smashed 2 rod bearings out so my question is do I need my lingenfelter oil cooler on my 80 percent strip s10 or will I be fine without it I'm just scared of loosing oil psi or having the oil cooler negatively impact my motor there's no money for a rebuild right now and I'm fixing to fire it up for first time and I'm not sure whether to just have a oil.fees for.turbo or use the oil cooler with the lines running to my radiator and back there 8an lines about 2.5 feet long advice would be greatly appreciated the truck is not legal now so it won't see street time for quite a while if that matters
