twin turbo 402
I'm building a twin turbo 402 for my '52 International pickup. I have Arias pistons and eagle rods and crank. EBay headers and two gtx3582r' s from eBay. Am looking for 800 at the wheels. Is this realistic?

.82, it is a street car and I want quick spoiling. I was trying to avoid going too big and ending up with lag. It has an LQ4 with LSA charger at the moment and my friend's 911 turbo walks away from me, just.

My GTX's are Chinese ebay dual ball bearing units. I have checked and the comp wheel seems to be legit billet. As for the converter I foresee a possible hiccup. It is a standard stall unit. Living in South Africa makes getting another lees than straight forward. It currently has a BTR stg 2 cam. I am thinking that I might have to swap the LS9 cam that I have laying around? That should make things easier on the low stall converter?

There are ways to modify torque converters, so you could find out how to loosen yours up. Or swap in a manual transmission. I would imagine the LS9 cam would help with spooling, but there are definitely people who know more that can advise you better on that. Sounds like a fun project. Definitely keep us posted.

Just pulled the trigger on a pair of BW S366's. Now Im worried that they might be too big.

The BW's are just big in general, but they'll be fine for a 402.
I've a pair of 364FMW's on my 383 and they're great.
I'd maybe like to try something a bit bigger..but would only do so for a pair of ball bearing turbos. But for the money these are working superbly and even with the smaller 68mm turbine wheel...EGBP is excellent.

I would definitely fabricate some chassis mounts to support those turbos, just so all that weight isn't hanging off the manifolds. But it is good to see progress. Should be an awesome pickup when you're done.
