Just some price research I did. Mostly pulled from ebay or VS racing.

2007 totally stock 4.8 WT 2wd $9,000

228/230 trickflow cam $270
pac 1218 springs $140
7065 turbo $350?
oil drain/feed setup for T3/T4 kit $65
KB racing manifold $500
single 44mm gate on the turbine $95 (VSR 44mm WG)
3 inch Piping kit $139
air to air intercooler $199 (VS racing 33*12*4 Intercooler)
80lb injectors in the stock intake $345
450lph in tank pump, $125
duramax 3.3bar Ebay sensor $21

Total $2249

Thanks for your sharing DENMAH. Amazing stuff you do. I'd be tempted to buy one of those updated BW turbo's but I'm glad your proving the china stuff.

Just curious, on your gear, you said should be good for 130, but thats in OD right? Have you shifted into OD on a stock trans under full throttle before? I gave up on that, back in the day, when I destroyed a few Stang trans doing that.

I'm jealous of all that space to put stuff in the engine bay. Nice project.

Just watched a bunch of your vids. Good god you have a lot of energy! I find your lack of fear with putting metal shavings in your oil pan both liberating and scary. Your breaking the internet for sure!

BTW if you can suffer with 4.10 ratio rear you can swap a 9.5" from a 6.2 or 6.0 truck. I hate setting up gears. It is a lot better with the bed off though. Just did it on a Dana 70u in a dodge.

Hey denmah, what ever was the fate of the silver truck you guys did with the under mount and turbo 400 trans?
I see this is prob more of a "proper" build, but the silver truck was great haha.
Also I'm totally on board with the low gear, over the years I've followed these turbo builds, I've noticed a shift from "leave the stock gears!! Youll need them to load the turbo!!, To anybody who
changes them, it ends up being one of the best things they've done to the car.

i use a shop vac and also grease up my finger and try to pickup as much as possible, the pickup and filter and oil changes will get the rest, anything else will stick to the sludge in the bottom of these 90k oil pans no problem LOL

always done it this way, well, 90% of the time i have done it this way and without issues, so i am not gunna change how i do it now lol

there is an entire thread for that truck, we eventually went 80e trans and it would foot brake high 10s and we de-modded it and traded it for a 2011 coyote mustang 6 years ago lol.

yeah properly setup turbo and power band, with gears for what you are going to use the vehicle for = still winning

Timing cover is another super easy location for an oil return if your turbos sit up high enough. Can do at the same time you do the cam swap without worrying about metal in the oil... Not that that little bit of metal is anything to worry about with a JY engine IMO.

This one was cool because it got the drain out of the way from the crank pulley to boot.

Does this have a G80 rear or is this thing going to be a 1 wheeler peeler? I don't see you welding the rear up or her DD.
