Once it hits the market.... it will be the best design available for purchase. It has more install flexibility than any other available.

Looks like it would be a nice start to a single turbo kit for a 67-69 Camaro/68-74 Nova's.

We do a lot of extra work to make turbos fit where they were never intended. My comment was not sarcastic. I really would like to know if there are any additional space savings once everything is bolted in place.

Probably not, except with the 2 bolt flange you don't need the extra space for the actual clamp.

It would be and would be even better if they offer the one Hooker driver side mid length header to clear the steering box because I don't think the manifold will clear it. I used one in my application but I have one brand new passenger collecting dust in my basement.

For old GM cars this does offer more flexibility. Both the KB and Trick logs can work pretty good but it's always tight around the control arm. This will help solve those issues.

It definitely had a bolt on top and said Sniper on it. It doesn't look tall enough to have an intercooler built into it and I didn't see any fittings on it for water lines. I've been telling Holley for 10 years to build an intake with an integrated intercooler built into it.

On the Nova and Camaro, the use of big block frame stands will move the engine approx 1/2" towards the pass side which frees up room for the drivers side manifold. I had to massage my power steering box a bit with a grinder. But it works.

I like the looks of this new Holley part.

Yep! When guys try to fit headers on a bbc with the sbc mounts always end up denting the crap out of the headers. If I ever do the swap I will be good to go with my bbc tall/narrow stands.

Passenger manifold will be in the $279 range and both manifolds and cross over pipe with v-bands not 2 bolt flange will be $479ish and will be out Feb-March 2017. At least the holley guy I talked to at LS FEST told me this. The 2 bolt manifold was just for the show he said.

I also suggested they make one for the Drivers side for people wanting to run Twins he said he would look into it.

It would be helpful for those in other parts of the world too with RHD cars who might prefer the turbo on the left side of the vehicle.

Is it a new idea, no, but it is a clean and proven design. The V-band at the front makes it adaptable to many different applications. It's also very compact and being that it will be cast iron, that makes it more durable. Probably not targeting the 1000+hp people, but certainly the under 750hp crowd...

Andrew
I bet someone makes 1500hp with that manifold and the right turbo.
