Anyone running twins on stock 5.3?
After helping with my single 76 L33 build my buddy is starting on his own project, a 1940s Thames panel truck gasser build. After doing a single on my car he decided he wants to try some twins. Plan is to use the Engine he has which is a bone stock 5.3 with no intentions of opening it up other than swapping out for some PAC 1218s and an ls1 intake for hood clearance, plan is to use tried and true 80#ers with necessary fuel system. He is looking for somewhere in the 5-600whp range on pump gas no meth. No ET goals or anything serious like that just building a fun cruiser for the fun of building a different that just got pulled out of storage after 30 years.
Just curious what a popular size/brand guys are having good luck with. There are tons of options from what I have seen but no sense in reinventing the wheel since I see a lot of guys that have sorted well designed projects and figure I should tap into knowledge here so I can pass it along.

Check out this build. It would fit your buddies needs and spools lightning fast. I've seen it run in person. And it a relatively inexpensive set up as well.

Are you planning on running E85? That or pump gas and meth without an intercooler would fit better in the Thames. That thing will be an animal with 600rwhp. and an 80 something inch wheelbase!
