Anyone have some good info as to what I need to switch wiring from a gen 3 to this gen 4 motor?

You need to swap the reluctor wheel on the crank for a 24t, you will need to swap the crank position sensor for the gen3 black sensor, you will need to extend the cam sensor to the front of the block and that should do it.

Does that mean I need to remove the crank, ?The crank sensor is on the side?
What about the knock sensors on the side

Yes the crank has to be removed to replace the reluctor wheel. And the knock sensors go to the sides of the block. You will have to tap the holes for the gen 3 knock sensors though. All of this stuff is in my build thread. I had to do all this same stuff to my gen 4 ly6.

All these wiring/sensor changes are assuming that you will be using a factory ECU. If you get a MS3, Holley etc. you don't have to do all that.

Stock Ecu here.
Lingenfelter had a 24-52 tooth converter box that doesn't require switching. It sounds pricey though,

I've heard a lot of bad about the converter boxes, I've heard some success stories. That's why I swapped reluctor wheels.

Fabricated a mount for my washer fluid tank. I'm going to run hood pins and ditch the hood latch.

Pistons rods and crank removed. Decided to swap the 58 tooth reluctor wheel instead of buying the conversion box.

The new tow rig

Dual walbro 450s

Btr springs are nice!!! Bobby from ky speed hooked me up with these

Lol, stock for now. Well it's 5" lift on 37s.
I'm downsizing to 35s shortly. And some nice wheels. It's a 2016 with 8000 miles so it's stock. Il keep it that way for another year maybe two. Then dpf /cat /egr delete and efi live.
