2 things:

1. I squeezed my drivers side collector down next to the alternator about as close as you did...are you using factory F-Body alternator? I want to upgrade and want to use a truck one, but I hear its physically larger...what are you running? I am also concerned with killing it with heat...even though its heat wrapped there...do you have any concerns with this as well?

2. Have you ran an aluminum downpipe before? I wanted to do this but just couldnt trust the high heat here with aluminum. It would be above or close to annealing temp and I could see it deforming over time maybe...Look forward to your feedback on this. thanks

This is the ls1 alternator. The ceramic coating keeps the temps down very well. I am not worried about the alternator heating up from the hotpipes.

Yes ran aluminum down pipe on multiple setups. It will be fine. The downpipe really doesn't get that hot.

Nice work, I always liked red, lol (that's kind of a joke about me, had to many red cars, lol)
Is the x mem. diff on older Camaros, where you have to change it for an LS engine-I have been keeping an eye out for a deal on a newer Camaro
Thanks

Car is so clean. The red and black go together great. I really prefer the LT1 front end to the ls1 cars. Now with a turbo ls1 it couldn't be better!

Default First outing broke into the 9s

Update***
finally made it to the track with this build. Ran a 9.9 on spring pressure second pass off the trailor then a 9.7 on 17.9 psi (still need to work on the 60ft) then upped the boost more to try and hit low 9s and wheelied and came down and cracked the tranny pan. Lot left in it

If it does any street driving I'd wrap those brake lines. Looks great otherwise.

Do tons of street driving. No issues whatsoever with the brake lines

New update. Car ran 9.35@146@18.2 psi. No change in boost just improved my driving skills and tightened up the front shocks and installed travel limiters. Hopefully hit 8s in a few weeks

What size rear tires are you running? Is that a Holley Hi-Ram or Mid-Ram? Car is beautiful!

Mickey Thompson 275 et pros. It's a holley mid ram. I'm running cathedral port heads so the high ram is too tall and hits the windshield. Rectangle port heads/hi ram are about an inch lower

Did you use two 90 degree bends on the downpipe ?
