Default Intake for turbo 5.3

85 cutlass
2004 l59 5.3l
#706 heads
Csu 650 blow through carb
csu bonnet
On3 78/75 turbo
Trick flow .216/.220 .560 cam
pac 1218 springs
Powerglide with 3300 stall?
3:50-3:70 rear gear?
Im having trouble trying to decide on which of the 3 intakes to use.
Holley ls mid rise #300-132, victor jr, or super victor.
I seen an article awhile back that has the holley average ,3000-7000 rpm range, about 10ft/lbs above the victor jr. But that was naturally aspirated. I was wondering which would be the best intake for my setup. Thnx.

Whichever is cheapest and easiest to fit. I would go with the Vic Jr.

they are all single plane and the holley is the cheapest. it doesnt look like you are going for an all out build so 10 horsepower wont make much difference...

For some reason when I seen mid-rise I was thinking of the Holley EFI intake.

I've used the carb intake on one car and it wasn't a bad piece. If you shop around you can find it incredibly cheap.

What about the 821052 holley sniper intake. Has anybody tried it yet? 1800-7000 rpm range.

Advertised RPM ranges are typically an extremely rough guideline.
They depend greatly on engine size, cam selection, head choice, compression, etc.

Since the Holley sniper intakes are based on the horribly performing China intakes, you would be far better off to spend your money on a cheap single plane intake that will keep everything uncomplicated.

Default PML LS-X Intakes

I have some great 2nd hand PML intakes, these were from the GMPP project, the GN West "spec engine".
They have dyno time only and would be a great buy.

Send me an E-MAIL if interested.

Would you try my IGN-8 controller and IGN coils ?

if i run the victor jr intake would i benefit from running a spacer plate? Would it help build bottom end torque for faster spool. Im looking to run around 20 lbs of boost.
