Default Brake booster

Buttoning up my turbo install and was asked a question...

Do I need to install a check valve in the brake booster line?

Will the brake booster see boost that could possibly harm or break something? Will I lose brakes under boost?

Thanks in advance!!

The fitting on the end of the hose that goes into the booster is a check valve.

Short answer is yes. Not all cars have a check valve in the booster.

You have the same answer and that is yes you need a check valve. Whether your car already has one or not is up to you to find out.

You should have one already, but if you want to test it blow on the hose end that goes to the intake, shouldn't be able to
