Head unit and changes in cubes
I am pretty much a FI newbie, but have been thinking about supercharging someday. Question I have is, if I buy a supercharger for the stock displacement, then someday up the displacement to say 427, do I need a different head unit, or couldn't I just change pulley size?
Reason I ask is I thought I could just change pulley size, but have seen a few people selling their old stuff because their displacement is bigger and they want/need? to get a different head unit.
Thanks for your help.

Depends on how much power you want to make. If it's something little like a P1SC chances are it is going to be too small to make more than 6 or 7 pounds of boost pullied to the absolute max. Still going to make around the same amount of total horsepower, it's just that the larger motor will make a lot more torque, a lot more power under the curve, and do it at a much lower boost pressure.
