Sounds like a LS1 F-Body roots style supercharger might finally become a reality I recently talked to a company that is planning to release a root's style supercharger for the 98-02 F-Bodies. The supercharger would be mounted on top of the engine and it would be a complete kit. The company indicated that they would be shooting for a December rollout. I can't say the name of the company right now, but I should be able to in about a month.
From the sounds of things, the kit would be very nice and would have excellent instructions.

The roots supercharger has been around for a long time, how is the Eaton supercharger different? The Eaton supercharger is essentially a Roots blower pump, with one substantial design wrinkle; each rotor has been twisted 60 degrees to form a helix. The two counter rotating rotors have three lobes, which intermesh during operation. These twisted rotors, along with specially designed inlet and outlet port geometry, help to reduce pressure variations resulting in a smooth discharge of air and a low level of noise during operation. This arrangement also improves efficiency over traditional Roots superchargers. With helical rotors and an axial inlet the Eaton supercharger can be spun to up to 14,000 rpm, thereby reducing package size.

A few posts down it says something about Kenne Belle making one for the vette and it will be released in March 05.....So I doublt Belle is making 1 for the F-body right now or he would have announced it already

sounds like a very promising option. the kenny belle cobras are just insane. i would love to see what a twin screw would do on a f-bod. surely somone will come out with something to clear the f-body cowl in a twin screw sooner or later...

I really hope a roots S/C hits the f-body scene...Maybe I won't eventually turbo my car and go with a blower instead until I'm out of school. December is awfully close and I'm surprised that no one else has heard anything about it.

I hope it is something stronger than the Magnacharger.The roots is very good looking but lacks alot of power compared to a Procharger.I haven't seen a Vette yet make more than 420rwhp on a stock motor and 480hp with a H/C setup.Hopefully Kenne Bell is working on this.

Slowhawk, my Magna Charged 348ci put down 506 rwhp and 501 ft-lbs on its baseline dyno session. I have to re-route my fuel lines directly to the rail (instead of thru the dampner block), as my fuel pressure flutters past 5300 rpm. Once I do that, we will do more dyno tuning and go to higher rpm. My 506 rwhp was only at 5500 rpm. On 93 octane.
