Lingenfelter NEW limited Twin Turbo 427 C6 !
Just saw this on their site:
http://www.lingenfelter.com/c6corvettecompack.asp
It's odd, yesterday when I saw it, it was only 20 cars. Now they are offering 25 cars...very odd.
725 Horsepower 427 CID Intercooled Twin Turbo
One time limited production of 25 cars
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, Inc. we will be producing a special one time offering of the new C6 Corvette twin turbo.

are ignorant yuppies the only ones that are dumb enough to pay $50K for a turbo setup??? or are they just willing to pay the extra $40K for the name on the car? that's a retorical question as i am already aware of the answer. not trying to start a war, but come on, $50 Grand is outragous to pay for that alone. i can go to HP Performance and have that done for around $10K out the door and make the same power if not more. the only thing i would want from them is a set of TT 427 badges if they make them. otherwise, i could care less if they dropped off the face of the Earth. i can't afford what they sell, but i also would not pay it if i did. plenty of other reputable shops that don't stick it to you just so you can have their name on the car. if i'm going to be stuck up the butt, i better be the one getting the extra $40,000!!!.......actually, you couldn't pay me enough, but you get my point. now, i'm going to bed. goodnight.

You have to think, a twin turbo car done correctly will cost more than $10k, there is no doubt about it.
For GTR head units you could spend 3k on 2 of them without a sweat, plus don't their cars have to pass C.A.R.B when sold like that?

Pray Hrd: I think you overlooked the fact that it is a forged 427, its a twin turbo, and this is for a vette not an f-body.
Everything is much more expensive for the Vettes. Agreed that 50K-75K is a lot, but besides the obvious upgrades, your getting a car that is only 1 of 25, and on top of that depending on options you choose you can have a car of 1 of 10 or so....and people pay tons of money for such a limited edition.....they'll find 25 people rather easily
