Porsche KKK K26 Compressor Map?
Anyone have this map by chance? It is out of a 944 turbo. I have found one for a 924 but I have been told the 944 has a different model...If anyone has this please let me know, I am trying to piece together a junkyard STS kit

... and I have another one to match yours if you're doing twins! Low miles too.
BTW, the 88 & 89 944 turbo "S" used the same k26 as the 86 & 87, but had a #10 housing rather than a #8 (from what I remember) for more top end power.

That map is for a 924 K-26 Jose, I need one for the turbo that came in the 944. I just want to run 6-8 lbs of boost on my ECSB 5.3 I am not trying to make a racer out of it or anything but If I can fabricate something up that does not cost a fortune and gain some power at the same time, why not....

the stock 944 Turbo uses a KKK K-26#6 turbocharger for the '86-88 model cars (engine M 44.51) and a K-26#8 turbocharger for the 88½-91 model cars (engine M 44.52). For KKK turbochargers, the size of the compressor housing is designated by the first number (K-26) and the size of the turbine or "hot house" is indicated by the second number (#6 or #8 in this case). As we mentioned before, the larger turbine of the K-26#8 allows it to maintain maximum boost longer than the earlier cars which results in a higher peak torque and horsepower.

Thanks for the info and help on this one guys! I am just wondering if this would work at all on a otherwise stock 5.3 in a rear mount setup so I am trying to find a compressor map for it. I have been told that the k-26 that came on the 924 (the map above) is different...?

Are the KKK turbos up there in quality? Never really hear much about them but if Porsche uses them I guess they can't be too shabby....
You can get these water cooled too... I think I just found my turbos if I go twin!

we dont replace very many on the porsches, I Have replaced some but replaceing them didng fix the problem so there was nothign wrong with em. We do a lot of k03s on the audis but only when the motors sludge up it usually takes out the turbo. We maybe have done 1 turbo in the last 18 months on a porsche that needed it
