Blower pistons
What are you guys using for forged blower pistons?? Did you lower the first ring land or have a deeper piston crown (dish or flat top)?? How much for the set??
on a 9.5:1 comp. with nonmilled ls1 heads/

SpeedDemon motorsports has them.. so does ARE and most other places... same with th erods... pistons about 800-900

That sounds like a good plan to get more boost or at least make 9 lbs very safe on pump gas.
How much boost you gonna run?

12 or 13 psi
We are going to try to get a Vortech T trim in there. He thinks he can do it. The powers steering pump pulley may have to be modified. Just make a smaller one.

BTW- I am from NC. A place called Washington. It is about 20 miles east of Greenville. My parents still live there. I will be visiting there again this summer. We'll have to meet up at a drag strip there this summer,

I am having a 382 with a Vortech built and we are going to use J&E pistons. Going with a dish type to lower compression down to 9.5:1
