Default My dyno "Experience" with the Supercharger

ATI/GWP Procharger: 486.3 RWHP, 487.0 RWTQ!

It's running rich... I put the 42 lb injectors in and need to get the new configuration back to Superchips for a re-program.

My A/F ratios were off the scale (below 10) until about 5400 RPMs, then it made a gradual rise until 11.7 at 6400 RPMs.

It topped off at nearly 10 PSI of boost at 6400 RPMs. The boost is instantaneous... it actually peaks ABOVE 10 PSI for a split second, then comes back to about 8, then rises to about 9.5 to 10 (depending on how much I spin).

I should get over 500 HP out of it with a little tuning, don't you think?

Acceleration Range:
From 3500-6400 RPMs in 3rd (A4)

Absolute Barometric Pressure
29.88 in. Hg.

Vapor Pressure:
0.15 in.Hg.

Intake Air Temperature:
71.4 Deg Farenheit

Correction Factor:
0.97 SAE

~ Max POWER
485.3 HP @ 6300 RPMs

~ Max Torque
485.6 RQ @ 5000 RPMs

(I'll have to call back to ask him to give me the peak numbers at what RPM. But that's the closest to the Max numbers I have on the sheet that gives me the parameters per 100 RPMs.)

The ATI/GWP Stage II system so far exceeds my stock Max HP and Max TQ by the time it reaches about 4000 RPMs. (I do have the MACs on, also). Ain't that grand!

BTW... just before 4000 RPMs is when he put his foot in it. So I'm overcoming my stock HP and TQ almost as soon as I go WOT!!!

Wowzers!
Can we see the graph?
I would love to see when and where it makes its power.

have a couple questions:

maybe I missed it , but are you suing th e7# pulley on that stage2?? If not what pulley are you using and can you go higher in?

Also have you lookied at any of the GWP SC cams?? Have they told you that one of those cams would increase ytour number further?? How much and what is a more radical grind?

thanks

I'm using the 3.20 Pulley.
The three options I know of that are warranteed are the 4.10, 3.40 and 3.20 pullies. What you use is dependent on where your boost is with your mods.

I've talked about the h/c/i with GWP and they assure me the gains would be significant. They custom grind for the performance of the Supercharger. They promised me at least 30 HP above any generic cam of similar profile. But my drivetrain can't handle what I have now for long.

I'll probably do that first (tranny, rearend) before attempting h/c/i.
