Default Inline v. Intank Fuel delivery systems

I just ordered an ATI Procharger with 42# injectors and an Aeromotive Inline Fuel pump. I've heard a few posts that maybe this isn't the way to go and what I need is a Walbro intank fuel pump. I'm new to all this and was hoping to get your opinions. Will I be fine running 8lbs. of boost with an upgraded inline fuel pump and stock intank, should I cancel the inline and get an upgraded intank pump instead, or do I need both?

The ideal setup that allows you to grow is the dual 340 intank setup that ARE sells. That'll support 1000RWHP no problem. You can get it with Boost referenced regulator, braided lines, and custom fuel rails if you want as well

the inline will probably work for your hp level, but an in tank is 'better' for me and definitely much more quiet.

i have dual walbro 340's in tank

i dont know how are does it, but if they run both through the stock bulkhead it wont flow enough.. if they do something like i did and run big line out of the tank, then it will definitely come close o 1000rwhp with the right rails and lines.. since one pump can do around 550rwhp at 14 volts.

pics of my stuff is in sig link.

I'm going to start off running an inline 255, supposly it can support 550rwhp, but if they see that I start to run out of guel on the dyno, it looks like I will be adding a 340 intank...

The only real bad thing about externals is they are so noisy. I think if you run your stock pump and your external it should easily support your horsepower level, though.

I am using 2 in-line Air Tech 225L pumps in parllel. No in tank pump. I am also using Ford 42# injectors, high flow fuel rails, fuel pressure regulator, #10 feed line, a #6 return line and a high flow fuel filter. They ran it Friday at WOT and I was sitting at 70psi on the fuel pressure.
