Default Got to the Track, Not bad first runs!!

well, not bad for a firsttime out, Drag Radials where useless, 2.323 60' both runs, only 4psi(cracked header,Fixed next week), I was scared as s#@t on racing it, and I ***** footed it! I shifted like my grandmother shifts her walker! I didnt want to break it!!! Rubber at the top of 1st,2nd and3rd(soon as peak boost hit). and featherd the car 1st and 2nd. ended up with
12.26 @115.23 1st run
12.10 @116.46 2nd run
Both runs had 2.3+ 60'
I think if I drive the car a little harder with 6 psi I should see mid 11's around 120mph, not bad for now.
Best part was, I drove it 60 miles up, raced and drove 60 miles home!!!!!! If their wasnt 6 million cars their I would have had more runs I think 11's would have been last night!!!
All in All not a bad night, and she staid together Might shout back friday, then Off to EastSide this weekend!!!!!
It was opining night so I would have been better with snow tires, and I was running a little rich. Not to bad all in all. I know the car will do much better, if I had a few more passes I know I would have beat it a little more and maybe even put it to the floor but I was a little shaken about what might happen! It will get better from here! I hope no one picks on me for a slow *** twin turbo car but, I know it was me, not the car! I promise mid to low 11's next few runs @ over 120 mph!! You can mark my words on that(as long as nothin breaks!)

Not bad for your first time out. It'll take a bit to NOT be scared of your car, I can't imagine with over 500 hp to the wheels what you're going through. Mid/low 11's should be easy, even if yur car is a pig

You should be able to get 1.90 60' with the right tire.

Shouldn't be that hard at all.

Now based on that I figure you'll lose about .6 in the 1/4 mile based on my experiances.

So you're looking at around 11.5 in the 1/4 at 4PSI.

I ran 4PSI and the car felt ok. I ran 10PSI and the car felt OMFG!!!!!!!!HELP$&^$&*^CAR IS TWISTING*&#*(&#!!!!!

So that's what awaits you my friend. Some folks who watched my shifting said the car looked like it buckled under the load of the motor. Yours will be no different.

Have fun....

Yhea, after next week I should be around 7-8 psi, and a set of cutouts, so 11's will be no prob! Once I get used to the car, I have a set of ET Streets to throw on her, so we, ll see!!!
