Default Good Twin Turbos

Whats up everyone? Does anyone know of any companys making twin turbos for the LS1. I know GMRspeed is but that one is kinda of pricey because I wont be the first ten or whatever it is to but it. So it would be like $8,000 for the kit.

GMR is your best bet. To get around the price I am putting my own kit together based around the 6.0L manifolds. I am going to go with twin T70's or a single T88. I havent decided that yet.

Ya I was thinking about doing a custom setup, but would I get the same results? Also wouldnt it be more expensive to do yuor own setup? Because of all the brackets, and fabrication, and all that?

Actually if you get your deposit in we still have 3 spots left. Also the price after the intro price is done is $7399.99.

TTi makes both a street and race turbo kit. Not sure what the pricing is, but one possible advantage it might have over some of the other kits mentioned is that it has been on the market for an extended length of time.

I looked at TTi's turbos and they only have a single turbo kit. Do they have any twin turbo kits for the LS1 camaro/trans-am?

No, but the twin kit costs you your AC anyway, so I would seriously consider the TTi race kit...

Well my A/C is already out completely. But I think if I were to go with a single turbo setup I would go with the GMRspeed single with a 76 upgrade but I dont hear or know of anyone with these kits.

i am building my setup for my 408. with a T88 setup or twin T70's lag will be present but not as bad as one might think. i am looking to have plenty of room to grow with out having to redo the setup a dozen times.

as far as cost. it is all depending on the level of your fabrication skills. i should be into my single T88 or twin T70 kit for alot cheaper than buying a kit and installing it. Again it all boils down to your fabrication skills.

Me and a friend are tossing around the idea of designing and building a tunner style single kit to sell, maybe even a twin kit. we would be looking to become a sponsor here on the board before releasing anything. that is still in the very early development stages. we both have full time jobs to deal with also. it may never happen, but it is nice to have goals...

The kit incudes everything you need to start and go, but the fuel system. We have great deals on anything you need. If you buy the kit we can give you a better deal on the fuel stuff. It all depends on how much power you want to run with the kit.
