Twin 67gtq drag car
Here are some pictures of another of our projects we are working on at the shop. The car is owned by a long time poster (15000 plus posts) on here and is a car we have ran since it was new in 98. The car has been through many steps but he seems to think his driving skills can handle more power...
The setup consists of a 408 iron block, AFR225s, W2W custom turbo cam, Aem engine management, 1000cc injectors, TH400 trans, moser 12 bolt... Turbos are twin pt67GTQ's with a custom air/water... I will try to post up updates as often as possible.

Ya it seemed like the most logical solution to fit a radiator of its size in there, its a 19 x 27 x 3 dual pass.
Here is some picts of the fuel cell mount that i made completely out of aluminum...

Originally I had asked Joey (copbait) not to post whose car this was BUT . I am switching from a nitrous car to the turbo set-up. The chasis has been built around always going turbo. I just hope that the rear-end, drive shaft and tranny will do as advertised. We will be tuning it for about 1000+ rwhp.
The 2 last pieces to the build was the engine - done last fall - after my bumper dragging with nitrous; and now to hang the twins.
Joey has done a great job with the car!!!!!! He will be unable to talk about his products as he is not a sponsor YET!!! Per the board rules, non-sponsors are unable to talk shop. The purpose of this trend was to show the progress on my project SS.
I'd also like to thank Kevin at W2W for helping us with the cam selection, and the rest of the goodies we got from W2W.
We are hoping to have it completed by the local Easter car show, and than opening test-n-tune the last 2 weekend of April. Should be one kick *** year.
With the completion of my car, the shop will have: my 98SS, Joey's 98SS, a 67 Camaro, 90's Mustang, a civic, an Eagle Talon, and my son's 93 Toyota MR2 -- all of which are turbo'd. My son's turned the least of the rwhp at 460 - but did a nice 10.93 at 132mph (at that time the nation's 6th fastest MR2).
Thanks for looking and the complements. We'll post more as the project come to a completion.

The intercooler is based on 2 750hp air/water cores. The turbos will aim into the bottom of the intercooler which is seperated so the air wont collide. The way it is setup the cores are being used as the y to merge both sides into one 4in outlet.

Here are some updates on daves twin setup. Intercooler is almost done and built the accumulator for the cooling system since the radiator is mounted lower than the motor.
